[Deutsch] Rudolf Flex war ein deutscher Philologe, Germanist und Professor am Carl Friedrichs-Gymnasiums in Eisenach, Thüringen. Er war der Ehemann der Margarete Flex (geborene Pollack) und Vater von Walther Flex (1887-1917). Das bekannteste Werk des politisch und kulturell engagierten Rudolf Flex sind seine Arbeiten über die Eisenacher Stadtmundart.

[English] Rudolf Flex was a German philologist, Germanist and Professor at the Carl Friedrichs-Gymnasium in Eisenach, Thuringia. He was the husband of Margaret Flex (nee Pollack) and father of Walter Flex (1887-1917). The most famous work of the politically and culturally engaged Rudolf Flex are his studies on the Eisenach town dialect.
