Born March 21, 2932 in Vuno of Himara. Graduated in Language and Literature and Journalism from University of Tirana. For more than 40 years he worked for the magazine "Hosteni" and "Naim Frasheri" Publishing House. He is the author of 120 books, of all genres, among which 80 have been republished up to ten times. He is honored with tens of national and international prizes and some of his books have been translated in other languages, like German, French, Arabian, Italian, Greek and other. The majority of his books are part of children's fiction.
For 35 years he has been the author and the co-author of schoolbooks and has taught children's literature at the University of Tirana and Elbasan. He has edited hundrieds of books, has prepared prefaces, notes, lexicons etc, for the selected works of Albanian well-known writers.
