Wendy Da has presented at major international conferences like ACTFL, EARCOS, ACAMIS since 2001 and has been invited by WASC/CIS associations serving on the accredited team as the Chinese expert. She is the core course instructor of the Master Degree Program at the East China Normal University and is the Chief Examiner / key trainer at Hanban Oversea Chinese Teacher Training Base. She has developed 100 Case Studies to train future Chinese teachers, in the areas of Classroom Management, Curriculum Design, Teaching Strategies, and Teaching as Leadership.

Wendy holds a Master Degree in Education in 2003 and starts Ph. D study in 2011 at the East China Normal University. With about 20 years of teaching and working experiences in the educational field, she has taught students from K-12 to adults, IB courses and college of BS and MS programs. She was the China Studies Coordinator at the International School of Beijing, the Global Language Coordinator at the Shanghai American School, and the Electronic Publishing Coordinator at MIT Press (Massachusetts Institute of Technology in US).

Wendy has about 30 publications as the co-author of EazyChinese series. With her initiative, the annual “Chinese Character Spelling Competition” event has been held in the areas of Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Wendy is the chief editor of “The Dragon Story” journal since 2007. With the support from ACAMIS board, the publication has been sent to over 60 international schools every year.

Wendy also put lot of efforts to lead students participate in the Global Issue Network projects. In past 6 years, Wendy has developed “Library on Wheels” project to teach English at village schools for migrant workers’ children in Beijing and Shanghai. She led the students and fundraised for village school students whom suffered in Sichuan and Yushu earthquakes, and kids with Aids in Anhui and Henan provinces.

Recently, She is invited by Elegant Bay Training Center as the Director of Training Program. She is aiming to help Chinese teachers shinning on the international classrooms with knowledge, elegant, and beauty. She also works with young women to purse their goals with beautiful mind as well as pretty outlook. To mid-age women, she sets an example to "Age Gracefully".
