**Vanessa R. Reed** is a native of **Philadelphia, Pennsylvania**. She attened **Chestnut Hill College**, where she majored in English literature and Communications. After spending several years as a retail executive for various major retailers, she returned to her first love writing.
In the mid 90's to 2000 Vanessa co-hosted a online SIM group featuring StarFleet Academy she is known as **MezSpock** the Klingon/Vulcan historian. Her knowledge of 'Trek' has won her many trivia contest.
Recently (2011) Vanessa has gone back to Chestnut Hill working on her Ba/Masters in Business Communication hoping to start a new career in film script writing and producing.
She is currently working on several novels: The Centurion, The Song Of David (inspirational) and Braeden Hall (Sci Fi)
Vanessa has an eclectic taste in literature and favors authors, John Saul, Johanna Lindsay, Sandra Brown and Janet Dailey
