**Professor Nezameddin Faghih** is a Professor of Management. He received his B.Sc. (1976), M.Sc. (1977), PhD (1980) from University of Surrey (England). His main research interests are in the interdisciplinary areas and he is known as a thinker for his writings on interrelating science to many interdisciplinary fields.
Professor Faghih is the founding chief editor of the newly established journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research (an international academic Journal in English), and associate editor of ten academic journals. He is also the founding and former chief editor of the Iranian Journal of Information Science and Technology.
He is a member of Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and holds other Professional Memberships and Fellowships. He is also a subject of Marquis Who's Who (USA) in the World, in Science and in Finance and Business; and the Asian/ American Who's Who (India).
He has won numerous awards and honors, including Distinguished Professor Award of National Excellence (2000), Distinguished Researcher Award (1999-2008), Distinguished Researcher in Fars Province Award (2000), Excellence in Research Award (1995, 1998), and Scholarly Book of the Year Author Award (1990).
Professor Faghih is the author of numerous articles and scholarly books. Professor Faghih is the author and co-author of thirty six scholarly books and over one hundred major refereed articles in a wide spectrum of scientific topics from random signal analysis, data mining, artificial intelligence, genetic algorithms, to cybernetics, mysticism and love, chaos and fractals, development and various other interdisciplinary issues.
