Carolyn Foote Edelmann holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition, and studied with poets Ted Weiss, Galway Kinnell and Stanley Plumly at Princeton University in the 1970’s. She is co-founder and publicist for the poet collective Cool Women, Poets, and publicist for US 1 Poets. She is also involved in ecological conservation and works with the D&R Greenway Land Trust and the Johnson Education Center. She writes poetry about and photographs nature.
