Swedish writer, Doctor of Theology and clergyman; dean of Härnösand in the 1960s. His work mainly focuses on Swedish church history, in particular Christian revival movements in Norrland in the 19th century. Wikmark has also written several biographical books, for instance on prominent Christian figures in Norrland such as Lars Levi Laestadius and Pehr Brandell. His doctoral thesis (1943) is entitled *G. E. Beskow och nyevangelismen*.
