Arden Strother was born in Grand Rapids Michigan in 1933. He served in the Navy in the 1950s on board the USS Palau, a small aircraft carrier. He sailed the seven seas gathering adventures for his delightful book "The Nocturne Bistro". Mr. Strother is also an Inventor with several patents through Chrysler Corp. where he retired from in the early 90s. Mr. Strother is still active living in Sterling Heights Michigan and working on a sequel to his book. Strother is also the son of Glen A. Strother who after WWII was called to Huntsville Alabama to help German rocket scientist Vonbraun to work on the American rocket program and eventually led to the United State's moon landing in the 1960s.
