Jim Keena was born in 1957 in a farming community near Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a National Merit Scholarship finalist, and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Economics from the University of Detroit. He has worked as a senior executive in the automotive and computer industries for thirty years. He is a leader, a freedom activist, and a popular speaker in the Tea Party movement
Jim has written two books. His latest is a non-fiction work called We've Been Had: How Obama and the Radicals Conned Middle Class America.
