I started writing children's books when I retired from teaching. I taught in junior school for many years so have a feel for what children enjoy reading. I try to create characters with whom children can identify and to make the stories credible so the reader can imagine himself or herself in similar situations. "The Silver Knight" and "Ginger Cat" are the beginning of a series and there are more to come.
