An experienced librarian who authored three works and is working on a revised edition for the ' An intorduction to the school library' by J.L. Van Schaick.
Worked for two private schools namely,
Pace Commercial College and
St. Barnabas College both in Johannesburg, two works (books ) based on the experience I had as a school librarian.

Revised edition of the 'introduction to school library to be published in 2011.
Prior to that, was a medical librarian at the following institutions;
@University of Limpopo in the health sciences faculty, and at the
@South African Institute for Medical Research in Braamfontein.
That was followed by an employment with the Institute of Personnel Management as an Information Manager (corporate librarian);

Also was employed by Soweto City Council as a librarian, and had an opportunity to run a library and information science consultancy .
Presently empoloyed by the Gauteng Provincial Library Services. She is heading the monitoring and evaluation division, where community libraries are monitored and evaluated on service delivery and funds transferred to them by the Provincial library services.
Main interest is the school libraries, medical libraries and Indexing(descriptors,controlled vocabulary and natural languages). Born in Middelburg, Mpumalanga,S.A, as Elizabeth Ruth Khomo.
