Koos Verkaik schrijft vanaf zijn zevende jaar, publiceerde een strip vanaf zijn zestiende en zijn eerste roman schreef hij toen hij achttien was (Adolar, gepubliceerd door Civo, Den Haag.
Na als tekstschrijver op een reclamebureau gewerkt te hebben, werd hij zelfstandig auteur en dat is hij nog steeds.
Hij munt uit in fantasy romans en kinderboeken. Publiceerde onader andere bij Gradivus, De Arbeiderspers en Thieme.
Werkt momenteel aan verschillende romans, die binnenkort uit zullen komen. Daaronder twee fantasy romans en delen van zijn Wolpertinger Serie voor kinderen.
