Born in Jamaica as Melton B. Fullerton, he is the third child for his mother and the second of his father. Melton grew up in the community of Derry, which is in the Parish of St. Mary. He grew up in a close extended family consisting of mainly males. He was the oldest male in his age group and at times manages to persuade the others into agreeing with what every idea he came up with.

He attended the Derry Basic School which he then left in order to attend the Donnington All Age School (Now Donnington Primary) outside of his community (1995-2000). At Donington all age school he was active in class and participated in track and field (Both inter house sports and against other schools) and the school’s annual Inter House Reading Competition. As a friendly student who sometimes got into fights he enjoyed playing cricket and soccer (football) with his friends any chance he got.

After taking and passing the Jamaican monitored GSAT which replace the old Common Entrance Exam and graduating from Donnington All Age he was placed in Guys Hill High School located in the parish of St. Catherine Jamaica (2000-2005). During the first semester of high school manage to stay active in his class; He was cool, calm and collective contrary to when he was in primary and a more outspoken person. He continued playing cricket with is friends in high school and in the ninth grade he once again became active in track and field. He was apart of the Math, Computer and Debate clubs in high school.

Melton went through the ninth to eleventh grade with two mottos, "With God as my guide all things are possible" and "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Just a couple months before graduation Melton migrated to Florida. Though he was not much excited about leaving at that time, Melton believed that “a man got to do what a man got to do" and since he had the opportunity that many grave he should go for it. During his high school years he managed to gain the respect of friends, student and teachers alike.

After migrating to the U.S, Melton struggled to adopt, but with the help of having something to look forward to whether it to going to school, reading a book or hanging out at the library and using the computers. He enrolled in Broward Public School where he earned his General Education Diploma within six months. After that he enrolled at
Broward Community
college.
Melton who was once an
aspiring teacher
decided to go a
nother route so
he decided
to study
Crime Scene
Investigation
with a minor
in Mathematics.
And
with this
in mind
Melton
Fullerton is
striving for success.
