August 16, 1958, David Wayne "Doc" Searcy was born in Lafayette, Indiana at Saint Elizabeth Hospital. His father, Monty Searcy from Rainsville Indiana, and his mother Carol Sue Foster, Ellis, were divorced early in David's life. David's mother moved to Wichita Falls, Texas in October 31, 1970. David went to school and finished up when he joined the Navy in March 17, 1977. He was stationed for two years in Japan aboard the U.S.S. Midway CV-41. He then finished his last two years of active service on the U.S.S. Flint AE-32. After leaving the Navy in 1981 he worked various odd jobs before he married Marcella Ramos. They had a daughter Shawna Renay Searcy. It was that time in 1989 tht he joined the Navy Reserves and stayed commited until his retirement in 2008. The marriage lasted two years and were divorced in 1993. David then married Charlotte Lynn Edwards. They had two daughters. Gabrielle Monique Searcy, and Tabitha Josefina Searcy. The marriage lasted nearly 10 years when they divorced in 2003. Afterwards he retired from the Navy Reserves after accumilating more than 20 years of service. In his world travels he loved Singapore the most. Reason being why he wrote the "LeMasters" series. It was in 2004 when David first began writing and self-publishing the children books, the LeMasters series, and other various books.
