YeShell, Ph.D., is a bilingual author starting writing since 1987. YeShell's storybook interpreting Taoism, Laozi and Daode-Jing, was published in Mainland China, 2005. This book was translated into Korean and published in Korea, 2006. YeShell's other works include The One-Tree Grove (fiction, English 1st Ed. & 2nd Ed., and Chinese), Birth of Death (fiction, English), Burning Trees (fiction, Chinese), Scientific and Interesting Interpretation of Lao-zi (Storybook, Chinese), Historical and Cultural Interpretation of Lun-yu (Storybook, Chinese), How to Write Classical Chinese Poems (Textbook, Chinese), etc. YeShell's new fiction about the life of the new Canadian immigrants, Sinking in Deer Lake, is being published in a series in the Vancouver-based Chinese magazine, Canada Chinese Times. This book was rearranged into a 24-part TV drama, When the Maple Leaves Are Red. YeShell is the playwright of movie script Promise on 5/12/2008 Sichuan earthquakes.
