Renato Prada Oropeza (Potosí, Departamento de Potosí, Bolivia; 17 de octubre de 1937). Es un narrador e investigador literario boliviano. Radica desde 1976 en Xalapa, Veracruz, México. Es autor de novelas, libros de cuento, libros de teoría y de interpretación literaria. También se inició como guionista en la película Tiempo Real bajo la dirección de su hijo Fabrizio Prada.
