Anwar Saeed Siddiqui is a seasoned journalist with forty years experience in the print and electronic media fields. He served Radio Pakistan's Central News Organization for thirty years. He retired as Controller of News in 2008. He also worked as Executive News Editor in News-One TV.
After getting masters degree in Journalism in 1969. from Karachi University. Mr Anwar saeed served different news papers and periodicals including Mashriq , Jang, Anjam, Jasarat and Hurriyat. His articles have also been published in various national dailies. He has also written scripts for television documentries and moderated a number of current affairs programmes on national and international issues. He is also author of short stories for children. At present he is wriiting coloumns in daily Muqadma Karachi. His memoirs are being published in Daily Ummat Karachi. He is also associated with Jinnah university for women Karachi as visiting faculty member.
During his long association with Radio Pakistan, he covered numerous events of national and international importance as well as visit of foreign dignitaries to Pakistan. he also had the previlege of visiting a number of countries including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Libya , Moroco, Egypt, Turkamenistan, Azerbaijan and Greece to cover President and Prime Ministers visits to these countries and events of global importance.
