Dr P K Chhetri was a civil servant by profession and retired recently as Joint Secretary to the Government of West Bengal , India, and also a scholar with six books and innumerable articles to his credit. The names of his books are: Financial Administration in India, Industrialization in India: Policy Framework and Development, Industrialization in Coochbehar: A study,Myths about HIV/AIDS, Gandhi & Nehru :Master-Disciple relationship Relationship:A Critique, Growth Prospects In Darjeeling: Constraints and Antidotes.
He is MA in English Literature and History, B.Ed, PhD Double on Financial administration and Gandhi-Nehru, MD In bochemic system of medicine and Dip in ECG.
Apart from being an administrator he is a doctor on homoeopathy also and cured hundreds of patients of chronic as well as acute illnesses free of cost.
He is an environmentalist and done a considerable work on bio-fuel and environmental safety. By his acumen and administrative ability, he has improved many non functional organizations .
He is a Gandhian scholar as well as a follower of Gandhian philosophy of non violence, therefore he is a vegetarian and does not take even tea and coffee.
His present objective is to open hospitals of combination therapy worldwide, in which Allopathy, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic systems will be combined to benefit the mankind. He wants that like minded people should join him in his mission. He is a philanthropist and a selfless person.
