Rev William Lees Bell was born 20 July 1826 in Trieste, Italy. He married Elizabeth Innes Stock 9 March 1858 at the Parish Church, West Ham, Essex, England. This couple had 8 children, Sarah, William, Alice, Rose, Edward, Henry, Katherine & Anna.

William died 9 April 1908 at Greenwich. London.

William's father Thomas William Bell was a brother to my husband's Great, Great, Grandfather John Bell & I have been researching this family for almost 30 years. I believe the family were from Norfolk, England, with links to Malta, Ethiopia & Grenada in the Caribbean.

This information is from an old Bell family tree & assorted genealogical research sources, i.e. Parish Registers, Census Records etc.

I would love to learn more about them, or hear from others researching this interesting Bell family & am happy to share information.
