Augusta Okon is from Cross River state in NIgeria, though she was born and brought up in Lagos state. She is an author, (wrote her first short work of fiction titled Bola and the Kidnappers, published by Nelson , in 1990, then Trust No One ,published in 1992, by Nelson as well ), before rounding up High school. She took a break while at the University of Ibadan to study Law, went to Law school, Bwari, Abuja, and was called to the bar in 2003.
