The Hyperchip H40G Green NGI Router is a 40Gb/s router over 10 times smaller and a fraction of the cost of competitors, using industry standard MicroTCA chassis and open-standard interfaces.
Mirek has 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry.
Before joining Hyperchip, Mirek was Executive Director and Head of International Business, Marketing and Sales Development in EMEA and Asia at Nortel Networks and VP of International / National Business & Sales Development for Canada and EMEA region at Realm Networks.
A key achievement by Mirek was annualized sales revenues from two (2) million dollars (US) to over one hundred and fifty (150) million dollars (US).
Mirek is a multilingual professional with broad international business experience in Start-ups, SMEs and Blue-chips. He is a perceptive, disciplined and dedicated manager poised to tackle complex challenges in the rapidly changing field of national and international Telco networks infrastructure. Having worked with some of the best minds in the global telecoms industry, and with many leaders in global service provision, his expertise can kick start new technology initiatives; drive new product or service revenue streams; increase margin, market penetration or sales revenue acceleration.
Mirek started his professional career as senior engineer / scientist at Northern Telecom Corporation and in BNR, and was responsible for the design and development of world first digital video/audio codec DV45, as well as to write technical and test specifications and the development of military communications equipment.
Mirek holds a Masters of Engineering degree from CVUT (Czech University of Technology), and is a member of the SMPTE. Mirek Holds dual citizenship, Canadian and European.
