Bertil Sandström, född 1943, är själv musiker och har sedan barnsben fascinerats av Hakon Swärd. Tillsammans med Fredrik Brofalk på SR Kristianstad har han i en mycket uppmärksammad radioserie berättat om Hakon Swärd för radiolyssnarna i Skåne. Han har tidigare gett ut boken om Bildsköne Bengtsson tillsammans med Malin Arvidsson.
