Director del Museo Antonio Raimondi de Lima entre 1989 y 1992, Comisario Oficial del Gobierno Peruano en la exposición sobre Raimondi en Milán, Italia, con motivo del Quinto Centenario del Descubrimiento de América. Investigador de la inmigración italiana en el Perú y en particular de Raimondi, colaboró en la elaboración del "Epistolario de Antonio Raimondi" e "Inventario del Museo Antonio Raimondi" (1990). Autor de diversos artículos, monografías y ensayos sobre el sabio milanés.
