Derek Ciccone is an avid fiction writer who has written eight novels. Painless is the first one to be published. Derek grew up in Connecticut and attended Arizona State University, where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. He now resides back in Connecticut and works as a Marketing Analyst for an advertising agency. Derek’s stories are fast paced mystery/thrillers filled with suspense, humor and romance. But at their core are memorable, layered characters who take you into their world and make you not want to leave. The consistent trait of these characters is they are seemingly regular people who are placed into unthinkable situations. When Derek’s not working or writing, he enjoys movies, playing basketball, and spending time with my family & friends. He also likes to read the writing of others, in which he really admires the character development of Nelson DeMille, the fast pacing of James Patterson, and the inventive plot twists of Harlan Coben.
