Dr. Cheryl Hamilton received a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Drama from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois; a master’s degree in interpersonal and Small Group Communication from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana; and a Ph. D in Higher Education and College Teaching from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She is currently teaching at Tarrant County College near Fort Worth, Texas. She has taught a variety of courses including honors rhetoric and Western civilization, interviewing, leadership training, anxiety reduction, intercultural communication, discussion and small group communication, voice and diction, and graduate persuasion. She has written several books, including Communicating for Success.
