Len spent his early years on a small Alberta Farm, near Metiskow, Alberta.
He was educated at Dolcy School, a one room building where one teacher taught all 9 grades. Len was member of the last class held there The country school closed in 1950.
His studies have been in theology, free lance writing. He holds a Commercial Pilot's License. His written work has appeared in publications such as: Good Old Days, The Nazarene Standard, The Wainwright Star Chronicle and numerous other publications. In 1979 he received "The Mississippi Valley Writer's Conference Award of Merit" both in the field of Fiction and Non-Fiction Short Stories.
Though Len has travelled across Canada and much of the U.S. and worked at various jobs, his heart is still on the farm where he grow up so many years ago.
