Born in Benares, India , where his maternal grandfather resided in October 1960,His paternal grandfather hailed from Saran District in Bihar, Graduating with Honours from Benares Hindu University in 1981 and with a postgraduate degree in economics from JNU, New Delhi in 1983 and a law degree from Patna University, is a lawyer by profession. Started his career in 1988 as an advocate in Patna High Court while teaching as a Guest Faculty at L N Mishra Institute of Economic Development and Social Change,Patna.With over 86 reported cases of which dozens of them having recieved media attention like Sanat Kumar vs State of Bihar with Ashok Priyadarshi in 1989 on the condition of Remand Homes and Chapra Jail Break Case of 2002, the cases are reported in PLJR , BLJ and BBCJ wrote a series of articles on political economy and Law which was a part of the book Legum Baccalaureus, LL.B.Married in 1991 and with two teenaged children from his stable marriage,he looks after the finances of msmishrassoc.org which was originally the chambers of Mr. Prabha Shanker Mishra, Senior Advocate . The chamber started in 1960 at Patna produced many eminent counsels likeMr. R P Singh who rose to become Chairman Bihar State Bar Council and Mr. G P Singh who became a leading Defence Lawyer, the Chamber expanded to New Delhi and Hyderabad.Member of Patna High Court Bar Association,Supreme Court Bar Association, Advocate-on-record Association and the International Bar Association. His insistence on Alternative Life style Movement won many followers.As Chairman of Peace Council, Patna has expressed his opinion on diverse range of topics in their conferences ranging from Cancer Research to medical negligence , has been invited to several public platforms like national HRD chapter at Patna, Local Self Government and Grassroot Level Democracy Seminar as a speaker.Appeared in many high profile cases like that of Dr. Jagannath Mishra in Fodder Scam Cases, Bablu Yadav in the infamous Champa Biswas Rape Caes.As a counsel to many Corporates,State Government, Trusts has built a formidable law practise.
